Pickleball Team Names: 150 Funny, Clever and Punny Ideas

Pickleball is the rare sport where the team name matters almost as much as the third-shot drop. It's on the league sheet, it's what the announcer calls, and if you're doing it right, it's on your shirts.

Here are 150 pickleball team names, sorted by style, plus tips for picking one and making it official.

How to pick a team name

• Say it out loud. If it's hard to announce, it won't stick.
• Keep it short. Two or three words fit a scoreboard and a shirt.
• Know your league. Social leagues love puns; some clubs have rules about what's appropriate.
• Make it about you. A name that nods to your city, your club or your team's inside joke beats a generic one.
• Check the shirt. Most of our custom pickleball shirts take up to 29 characters, which fits every name below.
