Senior Shirt Ideas for the Class of 2027: Designs, 50 Sayings and Tips

Senior year runs on traditions: senior sunrise, the last first day, homecoming, spirit week, senior night, the senior trip and graduation. A class shirt shows up at most of them, and by June it's the thing everyone asks each other to sign.

Here are ten design ideas, fifty sayings for the Class of 2027, and a plan for getting a whole class into matching shirts.

When seniors wear their shirts

• Senior sunrise: the whole class watching the first sunrise of senior year.
• The last first day: the first-day photo, one more time.
• Spirit week and homecoming: class color day, class shirt day.
• Senior night: at games and performances, with parents in matching shirts.
• The senior trip: travel day, so the class is easy to spot.
• Senior sunset and the last day: the signing shirt.

10 design ideas

1. The year, huge. "2027" or just "27" across the chest reads from across a stadium. Our outlined 27 shirt does exactly that.
2. Twenty 27. Spelling out the first half turns the year into a word. See our Twenty 27 senior shirt.
3. Varsity. Collegiate lettering with "Senior" and "Class of 2027", like the varsity senior shirt on this page.
4. Interlocking numbers. A monogram-style "27", like our interlocking Class of 2027 shirt.
5. The class motto. A line the class votes on.
6. Everyone's name. A back print with every senior's name is a classic for small classes (ask your school's printer; our designs take one personal line on the front).
7. The school's coordinates. Latitude and longitude of the campus, for a minimalist look.
8. A countdown. "Last First Day", "180 Days Left".
9. Senior night numbers. The senior's jersey number and name, worn by the whole family.
10. The future. The college, trade school or service branch they're headed to, for a spring shirt.

Organizing a class order

1. Shortlist three designs and let the class vote.
2. Share one link to the winning design and a deadline.
3. Let everyone order their own shirt with their own size, style (unisex, women's V-neck, long sleeve, Comfort Colors) and text. Our senior designs take up to 33 characters, enough for a name, the school or the mascot.
4. Order two to three weeks before the event. Each shirt is made to order within 1–2 business days, then delivery takes 2–6 business days.

There's no minimum, so the student who forgets can still order next week. For bigger groups, our guide to ordering matching shirts for a big group has a full plan.

Shirts for the family

Senior night and graduation are family events. Parents can wear the same design as the senior with their own text ("Senior Mom", "Senior Dad"), and siblings can match in youth and toddler sizes.
